I have been travelling to Japan for almost 20 years now and I am usually there in January, April and for the Harvest in October/ November.
Flying from the UK, we travel to Tokyo and from there on the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Niigata Prefecture.
We stay in a business hotel in Nagaoka, within a short drive of all the koi breeders.
The trips are usually run over a 7 day period but if you want a shorter or longer trip I can usually accommodate this.
I can also help you with seeing tourist attractions in other parts of Japan if you require.
English speaking Japanese staff are our guides througout the week, They have unique access to some of the best koi the region has to offer.
